Note
When a license is issued, the license information retrieved from the
license management server is temporarily saved on the computer.
The location where the license information is temporarily saved can be
changed. For details, refer to "Specifying the location for temporarily
saving license information" on page 4-1.
3.7.3 Enabling device functions
An issued license is registered with a device in order to enable the device
functions.
This operation is used when a connection from the network that includes the
device cannot be established with the license management server.
First, issue the license in an environment where a connection to the license
management server can be established.
General operation
