3 Fax functions (selection)

Set contrast
1 Switch to fax mode.
Load the fax original.
2 Touch the [QUALITY& REDUC-
TION].
The display will change.
3 Touch the [CONTRAST] tab.
4 Press the [DARKER] button to in-
crease the contrast.
or
Press the [LIGHTER] button to de-
crease the contrast.
or
Press the [NORMAL] button to
keep the contrast.
5 If necessary, make additional
settings.
6 Dial the fax number for the destination.
7 Press [START].
The fax original is scanned. The transmission starts automatically
when all running processes finish.
