Always maintain a specific sequence when selecting the modes. You can
then be certain that you have not forgotten anything.
Step-by-step instructions on sending a fax
1 Press [FAX/SCAN MODE] on the
control panel to activate fax mode.
2 Load the originals:
❍ Load the originals lengthwise
and face-up into the document
feeder.
or
❍ Lift the original cover. Place the
original lengthwise and face-
down on the original glass.
Pay attention to the following:
Not all documents can be
processed using the document
feed tray.
➜ Never load stapled or clipped
originals into the document feed
unit.
