You can specify the default font symbol set setting. (Default setting: Varies from area to area)

In the User Settings screen, touch [Printer Settings].

Touch [PCL Settings].

Touch [Symbol Set].

Press the [C] (clear) key to erase the value, and then use the keypad to type in the symbol set number.

– A value outside the allowable range cannot be specified. Type in a value within the allowable range.
– For the symbol set numbers and symbol sets, refer to "Symbol set list".
