Note

Before using this machine in a network environment, the network settings must be specified for this
machine. For details, refer to the User’s Guide [Network Administrator].

To install the printer driver under Windows Vista/Server 2008, log on as the Administrator.

Either of the installer or Add Printer Wizard can be used to install the PCL driver and PS driver.

When using Windows Vista/Server 2008, the IPPS connection can not be setup using the installer. For
using IPPS connection, setup the connection using the Add Printer Wizard. For details, refer to

"Network connection (IPP or IPPS)" on page 4-8
