– If the authentication unit (IC card type) has been
installed, place the IC card on the authentication
unit (IC card type) to complete authentication
and display the Basic screen. For details on
performing authentication using the
authentication unit (IC card type) and registering
information, refer to the User’s Guide [Copy
Operations] or the manual included with the
authentication unit (IC card type).
– If [User Name List] appears, the desired user
name can be selected from the list. Touch [User
Name List], touch the button for the desired user
name to select it, and then touch [OK]. Continue
with step 3.
– If “Public User Access” on the General Settings
screen is set to “Allow”, users with no access to
a user name and password can touch [Public
User Access] to use this machine.
– If external server authentication was selected as
the user authentication method, [Server Name]
appears. Touch [Server Name], and then select
the desired server.
