2.8 Making User Authentication/Account Track 2

Enter the user name, user password, account name, and/or account password, as required. One of the
following screens is displayed. Please follow the instructions provided for each screen.
% The screen shown below requires a user name and user password.
% If [User List] is displayed on the screen, press the key to display the user list. Select the desired key
on the list and press [OK]; the selected user name will be displayed on the right side of [User Name]
on the user authentication screen.
% You will be authenticated by entering only a user name when a user password is not set for that user.
% If the administrator has enabled the [Synchronize User/Account Track] function, you cannot be au-
thenticated by entering just a user name and password unless you have preliminarily registered your
account in combination.
% The screen shown below requires an account password set with an account name.
% The screen shown below requires an account name and account password set with that account
name.
% If [Account List] is displayed on the screen, press the key to display the account list. Select the de-
sired key on the list and press [OK]; the selected account name will be displayed on the right side
of [Account Name] on the account authentication screen.
