3 Using PageScope Net Care Client

This accesses the PageScope Net Care server and displays the
PageScope Net Care login screen.
Important!
If
Windows Firewall
is set to
On (recommended)
in Windows XP
Service Pack 2 or Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1, the login
screen will not appear.
To display the login screen, perform any of the following opera-
tions.
• Click
Start
→
Control Panel
, and then double-click
Windows
Firewall
.
Windows Firewall
opens.
Click the
Add Program
button on the
Exceptions
tab, select
JavaService.exe
in the
Add a Program
dialog box, and then
click the
OK
button.
Check that
JavaService.exe
appears in the
Programs and
Services
list of
Windows Firewall
, and then click the
OK
button.
• Select
Off (not recommended)
on the
General
tab of
Windows
Firewall
, and then click the
OK
button.
