3.4 Specifying the Discovery Range
You can use the following procedure to search for a specific device on
the network. (See “6.5 Specifying the Device Discovery Range” (p. 39)
for details on the procedure for specifying settings.)
1.
Log in as Administrator. See “3.3 Logging In” (p. 18).
2.
Click the down arrow button above the pane along the left side of
the window, and then select
Server Setting
in the list that
appeared. If you are using the HTML mode, select
Server Setting
in the drop-down list, and then click the
Go
button.
3.
Under
Server Setting
, double-click
Discovery Setting
(single-
click in the HTML mode). This causes the
Discovery Setting
screen to appear on the right side of the window.
If you are using a Java mode and the Server Setting menu tree is
not expanded, double-click the following icons:
Server Setting
→
List Manager
→
Discovery Setting
