Infrared Remote Control
For wireless control within a distance of 5 m. If the distance
decreases you should change the batteries. For proper
operation mind a clear view between the remote control and
the sensor on the device.

FUNCTION (2 on the device)
Press the FUNCTION button (2 on the device) until the
desired operating mode is shown on the display.

Sound Settings
(Preset equalizer function) Different sound modes are avail-
able. (FLAT, ROCK, POP S, JAZZ, VOCAL, DISCO).

NOTE:

If necessary, change the EQ setting in your playback unit to
create the best sound.

LOUDNE (11)
Activates or deactivates the loudness function. When the
loudness function is activated, the bass is increased.
When activating the function, the message “Ld ON” briefly
appears on the display. When deactivating the function, “Ld
OFF” briefly appears on the display.

CH-LEVEL (9)
Repeatedly press the button to make the following sound
adjustments. Make the adjustments with the VOL+/- buttons
(6).
• LV = Volume left speaker (0-15)
• rV = Volume right speaker (0-15)
• SV = Volume of the integrated subwoofer (0-15)
• bA = Bass (-06 to 06)
• tr = Treble (-06 to 06)
• VOL = Volume (00-30)

MUTE (1)
For immediate muting of the volume. Press MUTE again to
cancel the function.

NOTE:

The activated setting is shown on the display by the “ON”
symbol.

Radio mode

1. Fully uncoil the wire antenna.

Automatically search for radio stations:

Press the SCAN button (7). The unit scans the complete

frequency band for stations. The radio stations found are
stored in ascending order of frequency. The sequence
cannot be altered later.

Manual scan for radio stations:

Briefly press the SEARCH+ / SEARCH- button (13),

until you have found the radio station which you are look-
ing for.

Preset station: To preset the found station, press the
REPEAT / MEMORY button (12). Select a preset location
with the buttons RADIO+ / RADIO- (13). Press the
REPEAT / MEMORY button one more. The station is
preset .

3. If the reception is too weak and there is interference on

the received station, try to improve the reception by alter-
ing the position and uncoiling or coiling the antenna. For
FM stations, you can use the MO/ST button (8) to switch
between mono and stereo reception. We recommend
that you switch to mono in case of bad reception. The
message “ST” is shown on the display for stereo recep-
tion.

Select the preset radio station
The preset radio stations can be selected by repeatedly
pressing the RADIO+ / RADIO- button (13) .

Playing back music files

You have three options to play back your own music files with
the unit: hardwired, wireless via Bluetooth, or via the USB port.

By cable (Cable not included)
The device has two connection options: AUX IN (8) and LINE
IN (10).
1. If required, use a suitable adapter (not included).
Connect the external device as follows:

• With a 3.5 mm stereo jack plug to the LINE IN socket (10).
• With a cinch cable (2x RCA) to the AUX IN sockets on

the rear side of the device.

2. Depending on the connection used, press the BLUE-

TOOTH/LINE button (3), until LINE IN is shown on the
display, or the AUX button (14).

3. Start the playback of your audio source. Listen to the

sound playback via the speaker. You can adjust the
volume using the VOL+/VOL- buttons (6/3).

4. For the further procedure, please refer to the user manual

of the external audio source.

NOTE:

If possible, adjust the volume of the external unit to a com-
fortable level.

Cordless via Bluetooth
Bluetooth involves a technology for wireless radio connec-
tion of devices over a short distance. Devices with Bluetooth
standard are transmitting between 2.402 and 2.480 GHz in
the ISM band (

Industrial, Scientific and Medical). Interference

can be caused for example by WLAN-networks, DAB radios,
cordless phones, or microwave ovens which work on the
same frequency band.
