Erasing data completely

(Card Setup/Memory Setup)

All data stored on the card, including protected images, is erased when the card is
formatted.
Confirm there are no images that you still want to keep on the memory.

• Cards formatted on a computer or other camera must be formatted with the camera

before they can be used.

• Be sure to remove the card before formatting the internal memory.

Select [Card Setup] in I shooting menu 1.

Select [Format].

Select [Yes] and press

• Formatting is performed.
