Protecting pictures

You are recommended to protect important pictures to avoid accidentally
erasing them. Protected pictures cannot be erased by the single-frame/all-
frame erase function, but they are all erased by formatting.
Select the picture you want to protect and display the top menu.

0] from the top menu to set/cancel

protection.

Pictures recorded to the internal memory can be copied to a card (backup).
A backup does not erase the picture in the internal memory.
You need an optional card to use the backup function. Insert the card
into the camera before using this function.
