Answering a call automatically
This product automatically answers incoming
calls to the mobile phone, so you can answer
a call while driving without taking your hands
off the steering wheel.
1 Press the HOME button to display the
“Top Menu” screen.
2 Tap [Settings].
3 Tap .
4 Tap [Auto Answer].
5 Tap the item you want to set.
! Off (default):
Turns off auto answer function.
! On:
Turns on auto answer function.
Editing the password for pairing
You can change the password for pairing to be
used for authentication on your mobile phone.
(the default pairing code is
“0000”.)
p Four characters can be entered for a pair-
ing code.
1 Press the HOME button to display the
“Top Menu” screen.
2 Tap [Settings].
3 Tap .
4 Tap [Pairing Code].
The
“Pairing Code” screen appears.
5 Enter the new pairing code.
p To cancel the input numbers one by one,
tap [ C].
6 Tap .
The pairing code is changed.
Checking the device information
You can check the information of this product
displayed on the Bluetooth connection device
before registering to this product.
p The device information may not be dis-
played depending on the Bluetooth con-
nection device.
1 Press the HOME button to display the
“Top Menu” screen.
2 Tap [Settings].
3 Tap .
4 Tap [Device Information].
The device information is displayed.
Checking the Bluetooth
wireless technology software
You can check the current version of the
Bluetooth wireless technology software.
p Before you download the files and install
the update, read through the instructions
on the website.
p Do not use the microSD card supplied with
this product to perform the Bluetooth soft-
ware version update.
1 Press the HOME button to display the
“Top Menu” screen.
2 Tap [Settings].
3 Tap .
4 Tap [Bluetooth Firmware].
The current version is displayed.
