Do not block the cooling vents. Never allow metal objects, such as screws,

staples and paper clips, to enter the PC or keyboard. Foreign metal objects

can create a short circuit, which can cause PC damage and fire, possibly

resulting in serious injury.

External monitor

port

This external monitor port lets you connect an

external video display.

i.LINK (IEEE1394)

port

This port allows you to connect an external

device, such as a digital video camera for

high-speed data transfer.

ExpressCard slot

The ExpressCard slot can accommodate an

ExpressCard.

ExpressCard eject

button

Press this button to take out an ExpressCard

from the ExpressCard slot.

PC card slot

The PC card slot can accommodate a Type II

card. The slot supports 16-bit PC cards and

CardBus PC cards.

PC card eject button

Press this button to take out a PC card from the

PC card slot.

Keep foreign objects out of the ExpressCard slot and PC card slot. Never

SD card slot

SD cards are used in a wide variety of external

devices. This slot lets you transfer data from the

device to your computer.

Keep foreign objects out of the SD card slot. A pin or similar object can

damage the computer’s circuitry.

Universal Serial Bus

(USB 2.0) port

One Universal Serial Bus port is on the left side.

The port complies with the USB 2.0 standard.
