• Multiply 12 by 34.

= Enters a “ ÷ ” sign for division.
Example
• Divide 54 by 32.

The multiplication sign can be left out when:
a. It is placed in front of an
open parenthesis.
b. It is followed by a variable or
a mathematical constant ( π,
e, etc.):
c. It is followed by a scientific
function, such as sin, log,
etc.:
_ Sets a negative value.

• Calculate - 12
