tovariableloadswithanaverageloadfactorof80%of

thestandbyrating.Thestandbyratingisonlyapplicable

foroptionalstandbypowerwherethegeneratorset

servesasthebackuptothenormalutilitysource.

Usethewattagereferencetableprovidedandmarkthose

circuitsyouconsider“critical”or“essential”.Makesureyou

andyourinstallerconsiderthesystem’saltitudeabovesea

levelandtheambienttemperaturerangewhendetermining

totalgeneratorload.
IMPORTANT:Whenusingthe100Ampor00Amptransfer

switchwiththehomegenerator,youmustturnoffanynon

essentialloads.Failuretoturnoffnonessentialloadscould

overloadthegeneratorcausingittoshutdown.

Access Covers

Thehomegeneratorisequippedwithanenclosurethathasa

removableroofandanaccesscoverforthecontrolpanel.

To Remove Roof:
Removethefourscrewsandliftoff.

To Remove Access Cover:
 1. Removeroofasdescribedabove.
 . Removescrewattopofaccesscover.
 3. Pullaccesscoveroutward(away)fromunitwhilepulling

coverupwardandoutofbase.Coverwillcomefree.

To Install Access Cover and Roof:
 1. Guidebottomofaccesscoverintobase.
 . Pushaccesscoveruntilitisflushwithsides.
 3. Replacecoverscrew.
 4. Replaceroofandscrews.
