6. Repeat the process and save design 23 rotated to 315 degrees, save another

design at 225 degrees and a final design at 135 degrees. These will be used
to form the completed design.

Embroidery:

1. Hoop the fabric, lining up with the right vertical line (use template included

to ensure correct placement). Position so the horizontal line will be the top
of the upper right design (this will allow two designs with one hooping).
Bring in the design saved at 45 degrees. Use the arrows to position the
centered needle at the intersection of the top horizontal and vertical lines.
Stitch the design.

2. Without rehooping, bring in the design saved at 135 degrees to stitch the

lower right section. Use the arrows to move the needle to the point of the
center thread mark. Stitch design.

3. Rehoop using the 7 ¾” vertical line and

the top horizontal (once again use the
template to ensure correct placement).
Bring in the design rotated at 315
degrees. Use arrows to line the needle
up with the top right thread mark in
the fabric. Stitch design.

4. Without rehooping, bring in design

rotated at 225 degrees. Use center
thread mark to position needle. Stitch
design. See Photo 2 to see how thread
marks look on completed diamond.

5. Remove the stabilizer. If a washable

pen was used to mark the fabric, use a Q-tip to remove the lines before
pressing.

6. Use the template to cut the embroidered front to 7 ¼” square, making sure

the design is centered in the square. Press a layer of fusible web to the
wrong side of the fabric. Draw lines on the stiff stabilizer 2 ¼” away from
each side as a guide for the center hole placement. Cut a hole in the stiff
stabilizer about 2 ½” square.
