FCoE protocols supported

The Brocade FCoE converged network adapter supports two layers of protocols: Ethernet link layer
and FCoE layer. They are listed in the following sections.

Ethernet link layer protocols supported

The following protocols support the Ethernet link layer.

802.1q (VLAN)

802.1Qaz (enhanced transmission selection)

802.1Qbb (priority flow control)

802.3ad (link aggregation)

802.3ae (10 Gb Ethernet)

802.1p (priority encoding)

IEEE 1149.1 (JTAG) for manufacturing debug and diagnostics

IPv4 specification (RFC 793/768)

FIP (FC-BB5 compliant):
