This appliance is designed for domestic use and for processing normal quantities of
food and not for industrial use. Any servicing other than cleaning and user maintenance

q Check voltage to be sure that the voltage indicated on the name plate agrees with
your voltage
q Never use warm or hot water to fill the water container! Use cold water only.
q Keep your hands and the cord away from hot parts of the appliance during
operation.
q Never clean with scouring powders or hard implements.
q Never use a steam cleaner.

resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
POLARIZED PLUG: This appliance has a polarized plug, (one blade is wider than the
other), as a safety feature to reduce the risk of electric shock. This plug is intended to fit
in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the
plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to replace the obsolete outlet.
Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
