Before using your espresso maker
Before using your espresso maker for the first time, or
after extended storage, flush out the system by
running several cups of water through it (without
coffee powder).
q Plug in the electric cord.
q Remove the water tank, fill it with fresh, cold water
and put it back in place.
Do not exceed the "max." mark.
q Turn the power switch to "I". The pilot lamp will
light up red.
Note: Your machine is heating up. It will be ready
for use when the readyĆlamp lights up green.
