Performance
The uniquely curve-shaped telescopic boom enables un-
rivalled reaches of up to 10 metres and a height of up to 12
metres. A further advantage is the possibility of handling
material below ground level. In this way, for example, it is
possible to load and unload logs from barges. The wood
grapple can be rotated through 360° and also pivoted for-
wards and backwards.
Reliability
A well-developed design and trusted quality standards
make the Liebherr LogHandler a trademark for reliability.
Key technologies and important assemblies such as the
overall drive and control technology, hydraulic elements
and the diesel engine are manufactured by the company
itself.
Comfort
During the layout of the cab, particular attention was
paid to ergonomic requirements. In terms of size and
operating friendliness, the cab sets new standards.
The all-round glazing and higher position of the cab
ensure a clear view of the working area at all times.
The cab and chassis are reinforced with a special protec-
tive cladding. Rollover bars on the boom and a ram guard
at the front enhance the safety concept.
Economy
The latest generation of timber handling equipment com-
bines a modern and innovative design with extraordi-
nary performance and low-cost operation. As with the
whole range of Liebherr reachstackers, the LogHandler is
equipped with a stepless, hydrostatic drive that is distin-
guished above all by exceptional fuel economy.
