LASERDISC /DVD OR HDTV
T hese instructions show you
how to connect a
laserdisc/DVD player or HDTV
set-top box to the AV 3 or AV 4
jacks. (This example uses AV 3.)
Connect the cable from the Y
OUT of the laserdisc/DVD player
or HDTV set-top box to the TV’s
AV 3 (Y) jack.
Connect the cable from the
C B /P B OUT or B-Y OUT of the
laserdisc/DVD player or HDTV set-
top box to the AV 3 (Pb) jack.
Connect the cable from the
C R /P R OUT or R-Y OUT of the
laserdisc/DVD player or HDTV set-
top box to the AV 3 (Pr) jack.
Connect the cable from the
AUDIO OUT R of the
laserdisc/DVD player or HDTV
set-top box to the AV 3 (AUDIO/R)
jack.
Connect the cable from the
AUDIO OUT L of the
laserdisc/DVD player or HDTV
set-top box to the AV 3 (AUDIO/L)
jack.
Press the SOURCE button
until you access the input source to
which you have connected the
laserdisc/DVD player or HDTV set-
top box.
Press the SOURCE button to
return until you return to the previ-
ous channel. Or press the A/CH but-
ton to return to the previous chan-
nel.

You may also use standard video
signal for AV 3 and AV 4.

Completely insert the connec-
tion cord plugs when connecting to
the Rear Panel jacks. The picture
and sound that are played back will
be abnormal if the connection is
loose.
