Replace roadlight

harness.

Replace lighting

control.

Not OK

If OK

Disconnect three position

plug at lighting control and

check for voltage at roadlight

harness pin C, wire 1C

(RED).

Replace bulb.

If OK

Not

OK

Replace roadlight

harness.

Replace lighting

control.

Not OK

If OK

Disconnect three position

plug at lighting control and

check for voltage at roadlight

harness pin C, wire 1C

(RED).

Before troubleshooting any
electrical circuit, ALWAYS
begin by checking the
following:

1. Fuses.

2. All connections relating

to circuit are clean and
tight.

3. Before troubleshooting

either the position lights
circuit or the low beam
lights circuit, verify that
the worklight circuit is
operating. If not, follow
the steps listed at,
Section 9.7.27,
“Roadlights Worklights
Circuit and
Troubleshooting
(Option),” be
fore
troubleshooting either
the position lights circuit
or the low beam lights
circuit.

If one position light is not
ON, verify voltage at that

position light, pins

2J & 20A (Left Front),

2H & 20B (Right Front),

2F & 20D (Right Rear) or

2E & 20C (Left Rear).

Replace bulb.

If OK

With the ignition ON and

the lighting control rotated

to 1st position (Position

Parking Lights Only),

position lights remain OFF.

If one low beam light is not

ON, verify voltage at that low

beam light, pins

2J & 21A (Left Front),

2H & 21B (Right Front).

With the ignition ON and

the lighting control rotated

to 2nd position (Position

Parking Lights &

Headlights) and pulled

back for low beam lights

ON, low beam lights

remain OFF.
