Hex Bolts, (4) 10mm Lock Washers and (4) 10mm Flat Washers to attach the Sidebar to the Mounting

: Insert (2) 100mm x 70mm Rear Spacer between the Mounting

4. Insert (1) 12mm x 30mm Bolt Plate into the factory hole in the inner frame rail located next to the front

tie down loop, (Figure 3).

5. Pull back plastic cover to locate the (4) factory holes at the point where the cross member joins the

frame rail, (Figure 4). Insert (1) 6mm Nut Plate into the larger inner hole and line up the nut with the
larger hole toward the outside, (Figure 4).

6. Select the driver side Front Mounting Bracket and hang it from the 12mm Bolt plate installed in Step 4.

Secure the Bracket to the Bolt Plate with (1) 12mm Lock Washer, (1) 12mm Flat Washer and (1) 12mm
Hex Nut, (Figures 5 & 7). Attach the Mounting Bracket to the 6mm Nut Plate and secure it using (1)
6mm x 30mm Hex Bolt, (1) 6mm Lock Washer and (1) 6mm Flat Washer, (Figures 6 & 7). Do not
tighten hardware at this time.

a. On 2011 & 12Vehicles Only: Insert (1) 90mm x 40mm Front Spacer between the Mounting

Bracket and the frame rail and Nut Plate, (Figure 8A & 8B).

7. Next, move toward the rear and remove the rubber grommet located in the rear floor panel. Insert (1)

12mm x 90mm Long Bolt Plate into the oval factory hole, (Figure 9A). NOTE: Insert Bolt Plate with
plate facing the rear of the vehicle. Once inserted, push it towards the front of the vehicle to fully
engage the plate across the slot. Bolt Plate must be properly supported across the opening.

8. Select the driver side rear Mounting Bracket and hang it from the Bolt Plate. Use the included (1) 12mm

Oversize Long Hex Nut with (1) 12mm Lock Washer to attach the Mounting Bracket to the Bolt Plate,
(Figure 9B & 9C). IMPORTANT! When tightening the Bolt Plate, make sure that is fully engaged
at all times.
Bolt Plate must be properly supported across the slot. Do not tighten hardware at this time.

a. On 2011 & 12 Vehicles Only

9. Carefully position the driver Sidebar onto the M

Brackets, (Figure 11).

10. Align Sidebar properly and tighten all hardware at this time.

Repeat steps 2 – 10 for passenger Sidebar installation. NOTE: The passenger side splash guard is one

piece. Cut the openings in the splash guard in the same locations as described in Step 3 or hold the
passenger side Brackets in place to determine area to be removed from splash guard.

12. Do periodic inspections to the installation to make sure that all hardware is secure and tight.


To protect your investment
, wax this product after installing. Regular waxing is recommended to add a
protective layer over the finish. Do not use any type of polish or wax that may contain abrasives that could
damage the finish.
For stainless steel
: Aluminum polish may be used to polish small scratches and scuffs on the finish. Mild
soap may be used also to clean the Sidebar.
For gloss black finishes: Mild soap may be used to clean the Sidebar.
