4.4.1 Transmission cable 5181/5246
For optimum use of the INJECT function (see section 5.1), the InjectMan ® NI 2
micromanipulator and the microinjector (e.g. Eppendorf FemtoJet ® or Transjector 5246) must
be interconnected.
Making the cable connection
– Switch off the device.
– Plug the FemtoJet ® interface cable (accessory) or interface cable 5246/5242 (optional) into
socket 2.
– Switch on the device.
The display shows "Injector ready" if the connected injector is ready for operation.
Note : Interface cable 5246 can be used to combine the Eppendorf InjectMan ® NI 2
micromanipulator with the Eppendorf microinjector 5242.
