SERVICE NOTES:
1. Add bearing pad shims & spacers as required to shim boom to
within 1/16” of a tight fit. Whenever a shim is used with a pad, a
spacer must be inserted between pad & shim. No pads shall sit
directly on slotted surface of shims.
2. The length of pad bolts depend on the amount of shims used.
Bolt cannot extend past chamfer on bearing pad.
3. Add grease, (14404549), to all bearing pad slide areas including
the inside of the Third Boom Section where the guide bar on the
push beam slides, (2” wider at center line)
4. Use loctite, (14403364), on all bolt threads.
