SECTION 5 - MACHINE OPERATION

6. Retract the tongue jack and swing it up into the stowed
position.
7. Properly enter the platform and start the engine.
8. Turn the function selector switch in the platform to the Drive
position.
9. Push the green Drive & Set/Outrigger Enable button at the
top of the function controller, then squeeze the function
enable trigger, then move the function controller in the
desired direction and release the green enable button.
10. Point the function controller in the desired direction of travel
to move the machine. The friction drive wheels engage
automatically when the drive function is initiated.
11. When the machine is in the desired location, set the outrig-
gers and operate the machine.
To Prepare the Machine For Towing After Drive & Set
Operation:
1. Place the boom in the stowed position.
2. Stow the outriggers.
3. Drive the machine to a firm, level, and smooth surface.
