5.18 TIE DOWN
WHEN TRANSPORTING THE MACHINE, THE BOOM MUST BE FULLY LOWERED INTO
THE BOOM REST AND TRANSPORT LATCH SECURED.
1. Place the boom in the stowed position and secure with the
transport latch.(See Figure 5-9.)
2. Remove all loose items from the machine.
3. Secure the chassis and the platform using straps or chains of
adequate strength and attached to the designated tie down
points. (See Figure 5-9.)
