7-6. Disabled

Although not strictly a function, the function
keys can be disabled by setting them to

Disabled. This “function” is useful when the iFlex
has been configured for a child, where accidental
pressing of function buttons could lead to
confusion.

8. External Camera


The iFlex can be fitted with the ‘Distance
Camera’. Contact your dealer or visit our website
at

www.ashtech.ie

for details. This camera is

used to display the image from distance objects
such as a classroom blackboard.

You can connect it to a video or DVD player or
the video output from a TV (if available) and
use the iFlex as an additional monitor. The iFlex
does not however have any audio capabilities.

Refer to Sections 6-2 and 7-5 above to configure
the iFlex to display external video.
