Performance

• Operate in fresh water only

• The pump should be completely submerged during use

• Always submerge the pump before plugging in to electrical supply

• Please wait a short time for the pump to flow correctly as there could be air in the pump and

rubber tube

• If less flow is desired adjust the flow control switch/dial on the pump. Do not let the pump run when

not submerged in water as doing so may cause damage

• A clogged or dirty intake screen will greatly reduce the performance. If the pump is used on a dirty

surface, raise it slightly to reduce the amount of debris in contact with the intake screen

Maintenance

To clean the pump, remove the back cover and the impeller. Use a small brush or stream of water to remove
the debris.

CAUTION: The pump shaft cannot be removed. IF THE PUMP FAILS TO OPERATE CHECK THE FOLLOWING:

• Check the circuit breaker and try another electrical outlet to ensure the pump is receiving power. NOTE:
Always disconnect from the electrical outlet before handling the pump

• Ensure the tube attached to the motor head is free of kinks and obstructions

• Check the front plate to ensure it is not clogged with debris

• Remove the pump front plate to access the impeller area. Turn the rotor to ensure it is not broken
or jammed

• Monthly maintenance will add to your pump’s life. NOTE: Ensure that the power supply lead loops below
the electrical supply. This will form a “Drip Loop” and will prevent water from running down the cord in
the electrical outlet
