3 Installation

h Define the program folder in which the icons for starting the software are to

be copied.

3.2 Selecting the installation option

h Decide on an installation option.

h Enter the path and file name for the user list.

Administrator

The “Administrator” option is only available if the PCS software has been
selected for installation (Page 14).

If you install the software with this option, then the user list that is defined will
be freshly generated.

Network user

The “Network user” option is only available if the PCS software has not been
selected for installation (Page 14).

If you install the software with this option, then the defined user list will be
accessed – so it must already exist before one of the installed programs is
started. This can only be achieved if an installation with the Administrator
option is carried out on one PC, and then a user list is created and stored on
the network. This user list can then be accessed at every program start.

Local user

The “Local user” option will only be available if the PCS software was not
selected for installation (Page 14).

If you install the software with this option, then the PC rights list that is defined
will be imported - so it must already exist during the installation. This can only
be achieved if an installation with the Administrator option was carried out on
one PC, and then a PC rights file was created and made available locally.

Create the PC rights file with the help of the menu function Data transfer
