6 Editing user lists
6.3.1 User
Using the right mouse button, click on a user in the navigation tree (e.g. User
ID: Admin), and you will then have the following function options.
New user This function is used to add in a new user. You have to provide the information
on
- User ID
- Name, first name
- Description (optional)
- New status
- Password and password confirmation
New device
and program
rights This function is used to authorize a user for access to devices and programs
(also on more than one PC).
Every user has rights for access to devices and programs, which are assigned
simultaneously. Various selectable options (profiles) are available for the
assignment of rights. The profile option “No profile” (for access to devices)
corresponds to the standard settings that are established when a new user list
is created.
