3. Separate BCR Assembly (C

1

) into its Frame (C

2

) and BCR (C

3

). Clean

the charge roller with charge roller cleaning wipe, or with clean
deionized water and white Chicopee Chix Soft Cloth. NOTE: Be
careful not to lose Mylar washers when removing the BCR.

4. Remove Front Plate (D) & used OPC Drum (E).

5. Remove Side Seals (F), Drum Cleaning Blade Seal (G) and Drum

Cleaning Blade (H).

Reassembly

6. Apply a light dusting of Kynar to the contact edge of the new Drum Cleaning Blade. Remove the protective blue strip from

reflector bar and secure the DCB to cartridge frame. Reinstall Side Seals (F) and ensure foam pads face downward.

7. Secure the new Drum Cleaning Blade Seal (G) onto cartridge frame & Drum Cleaning Blade (H).

8. Unwrap new OPC Drum and apply a light coating of Kynar to its surface. Install OPC Drum into cartridge frame, aligning it with the

Front Plate (D). Secure Front Plate to cartridge frame.

NOTE: Manually rotate new OPC Drum counter to the Drum Cleaning Blade to ensure proper lubrication has been applied.
CAUTION: DO NOT TOUCH OPC Drum surface or expose Drum to direct sunlight or white light.

9. Reinstall the cleaned BCR (C

3

) into BCR Frame (C

2

). Reinstall BCR Assembly (C

1

) into cartridge frame and lock in place.

10. Reinstall the Handle/Cover (B) and Toner Sump Cover (A).

procedures for this refurbished Drum Unit cartridge to ensure optimal copy quality and performance. NOTE: Follow these
instructions carefully. The quality and performance of the rebuilt NP-6030 Series drum unit/cartridge (DU/C) will depend on your
workmanship as well as the condition of the used DU/C being rebuilt.
