dusty, flush it using a syringe or clean
itusingacamelhairbrushbeforeattempt-
ingtowipeitoff.

Optical surfaces should be cleaned using
alint-freecloth,lensclothorcottonswab
soaked in methanol or a commercially
availableglasscleaner.Donotusealcohol.

Avoid excessive use of solvents. The lint-
freecloth,lensclothorcottonswabshould
besoakedwithsolvent,butnotsowetthat
solventrunsoverthelens.
