FOR YOUR INFORMATION

When you have FAX STORAGE:ON, your incoming faxes will be stored in the memory
and the LCD will show the number of incoming calls:

When you want to change the Fax Storage setting from ON to OFF and there is fax data
still in the memory, you will get the following message after you select OFF:

FAX IN MEMORY:01

ERASE ALL DOC.?

1.YES 2.NO

If you select 1 you will erase all the fax data in the memory and the function will be set to
OFF. Before it erases them from the memory, your fax machine will print automatically any
fax messages that have not been printed. If you press 2, the data will not be erased, and the
setting will remain ON.

Fax Forwarding

When you set the Fax Storage function in Function menu 8-1 to ON, you have an additional
option of fax forwarding, when your fax machine receives a fax message into memory.

How fax forwarding works

The fax is stored in the memory.

Fax forwarding function is activated.

The machine sends stored fax from
the memory to forwarding location.

Once connected, the machine sends
the fax tone to another fax machine.

The registered fax forwarding number
is dialled.
