pROBlEM
Blade does not completely cut
workpiece.
Head assembly does not slide
freely when attempting a slide
cut.
Head assembly slides forward
and back when making a chop
cut.
Bevel setting does not hold
position.
CAUSE
1. Depth stop screw adjusted
for groove cutting.
1. Slide rail lock knob tight-
ened.
2. Slide rail lock knob not tight-
ened.
1. Bevel lock lever assembly
needs to be tightened.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
- See Depth Stop Adjustment
in the Adjustment section.
- Loosen slide rail lock knob.
- Push head assembly com-
pletely against stop. Tighten
slide rail lock knob.
- Tighten bevel lock lever as
shown on page 15.
