INSTALLATION
To protect against shock and accidental start-up of the engine, disconnect the negative battery cable. Inadequate observation of safety
precautions could result in serious injury or death.
1- Remove the seat to gain access to the ECM.
2- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3- Push rear catch back and lift up ECM until you are able to remove it.
4- Cut any cable ties that prevent you from removing the ECM and unplug the unit at the ECM connector. This is done by pressing the tab on the
connector housing and rotating the locking bar until it is fully seated away from where the wires enter the connector. See Pictures 1 & 2.
