10- Double-check for dislodged terminals in the ECM connector and reassemble the connector by sliding the green terminal retainer back into
place.
NOTE: The green retainer will not will not insert properly if any terminals are incorrectly seated.
11- Start inserting the four terminals removed from the ECM connector into the two supplied rubber connectors. Arrange them in their
corresponding locations as indicated in Figure 1. Once the terminals have been pushed in part way by hand, use the supplied terminal
installation tool to seat them the rest of the way into the connector.
NOTE: The terminals and rubber connectors will need to be lubricated with isopropyl alcohol or an equivalent lubricant before inserting the terminals
into the connectors.
