9- In the upper left mounting hole two different SHCS can be used. For 1995-1998 BT’s use the 5/16-18 x .750” SHCS and for 1999-2001 BT’s use the
¼-20 x .750 SHCS as shown in Picture 14. Apply blue thread lock and tighten to 100-120 in-lbs.
10- Install backplate support bracket (S shaped bracket) on rear head as shown in Picture 15. This bracket is installed with the bend facing out
Apply blue thread lock to breather bolt and align slot in bracket with rear mounting hole in backplate. Tighten to 16 ft-lbs.
11- Install spacer and hardware as shown in Picture 16.
