INSTALLATION OF BARREL RESTS AND SHELVES

THE BARREL RESTS AND SHELVES MUST BE INSTALLED BEFORE MOUNTING

THE CABINET TO A WALL AND BEFORE INSTALLING THE FOAM LINING.

Barrel rest assembly
Install the (4) 4-position barrel rests (B) to the sides and back of the cabinet as shown in

figure 2.
Use the top set of holes (C) on the inside center panel for mounting the barrel rest. The

inside center panel has clearance holes. There will be adequate access to assemble the

barrel rest using both hands.

1. Thread the screws into the pilot holes from the outside of the cabinet. (See figure 1)
2. Align the holes of the barrel rest over the tips of the screws and lightly press the barrel

rest into place. (See figure 1)
3. Now tighten the screws from the outside of the cabinet. Tighten each screw partially,

alternating from one screw to the other until they are both tight. Do not over tighten.

IMPORTANT: If you are going to use the shelves, install them before installing the foam

kit or mounting to a wall/floor. If you will be using the storage section for long gun

storage rather than shelving please see the section below and refer to figure 3.

Installation of Optional Shelving
Install each shelf (A) with (4) nuts and bolts. (See figure 2)

INSTALLATION OF OPTIONAL BARREL RESTS

Install the 2 remaining 4-position barrel rests (D) to the sides and the 7-position

barrel rest (E) to the back. (See figure 3)
