Programming Speakerphone Mode

The DC550 includes an option for 2-way Speakerphone or Monitor Mode.

When “

MONITOR MODE” is enabled, voice transmission automatically stops when

the s peakerphone k ey is pr essed. MUT E will activate and the L ED i ndicator will
illuminate when the speakerphone is turned on thr ough the

SPEAKER key, or the

LINE key, or from an incoming Intercom call. The MUTE feature will activate when
the use r switches from the hands et or he adset to the s peakerphone dur ing an
active call.

When “

MONITOR MODE” is enabled, the MUTE feature can be turned OFF to e n-

able vo ice tr ansmission o n the speakerphone by pre ssing the MUT E k ey. If th e
directory numbe rs ar e switched o r a call is placed on ho ld and the n released, the
MUTE feature will be reactivated.

The “

2-WAY SPEAKERPHONE” option allows the voice to go out automatically to

the speaker without muting voice transmission.
