2. Remove the two screws that secure the fan and spacers to the air flow
plate and remove the fan.
Step 3: Install the Air Flow
Plate and New Fan Install the air flow plate and cooling fan in the reverse order of removal as
detailed in step 2:
Remove the Air Flow Plate and Existing Fan on page 2 .
Important: Verify that the air flow arrow on the fan is pointed toward the
top of the drive.
Important: Verify that the two spacers are properly placed during
installation.
