Assembly Procedure
A. Place “O” rings
on small diameter of fiber optic bundles .
B. Insert bundle
into hole in holder and push in until “O”
ring sets in its sealing diameter. Hold pressure on the bundle in
this position while tightening set screw (
B) using the Allen .
DO NOT exert excessive torque on set screw. Repeat procedure
“B” for second fiber optic bundle.
C. Remove the dust seal label from the front of the photohead
exposing photocell and LED.
D. Insert assembled holder into photohead
working slightly,
until holder is flush with front face of photohead. Note: To
prevent incorrect orientation of holder, a “T” has been placed
on the face of the holder and should be located at the top of
the photohead for proper installation.
E. Thread fiber bundles through the opening in bracket
and
mount bracket by inserting the tab on the bracket into the slot
in the top of the photohead
. Hold the bracket secure to the
front of the photohead by inserting the self-taping screw
and tightening.
