4.2. Module Status LEDs
There are ten status LEDs on the Gateway module front panel; one Healthy, one Active, one Standby,
one Educated, one Hard drive Active, one Status, and four Communications.
The module status LED states and their meanings are described as follows:
LED
INDICATION
Healthy
Module Health:
Steady green = Healthy, module self test has passed.
Steady red
= Faulty, module self test has failed.
Active
Unused, set steady green
Standby
Unused, set off.
Educated
Unused, set steady green
Communications
RS-232 serial port : The LED’s flash red when responding and green when
receiving and off if no activity.
Ethernet Ports: LED’s flash amber to indicate link activity and off if no activity.
Ethernet FP currently unused.
Disk
Flashing green when hard drive is active. Flashes red when secondary IDE is
in use.
Status
Reserved for future use.
