Linear Stage Side Cover

Install Side Cover Follow these steps to install a side cover.
1. Hold the side cover with the top tilted slightly outward and insert it into
the channel in the base.
The side cover will hook into the base.
2. Starting at the end cap adjacent to the ground screw, apply Loctite 222 to
one M4 socket head cap screw (SHCS), install, and torque to 4 Nm
(35 lbin).
3. On the opposite end, apply Loctite 222 to another M4 SHCS, install, and
torque to 2.5 Nm (20 lbin).
TIP If you are installing the side cover with strip seals in place, use a flat-blade
screwdriver to lift the side cover by inserting the screwdriver under the cover
between the cover and the base.
