Panel Mount Kit for LiquiFlo AC Drives M/N 120L4060

Installing the Panel Mount Kit

Important: This procedure assumes that the drive has not been mounted or wired, and that incoming power is

not connected to the drive. Kit installation consists of:

1) connecting bus bar jumpers to input power terminals L1 and L4, L2 and L5, and L3 and L6,

and installing a pressure lug to each pair of input terminals;

2) installing a pressure lug to each output power terminal;
3) installing the coolant input and output tubes.

The item numbers referenced in the procedures correspond to the circled numbers in figure 1.

Connecting Bus Bar Jumpers and Pressure Lugs to Input Power Terminals

Step 1. Attach the bus bar jumpers (item 1) between the input power terminals. Refer to figure 1 to confirm the

proper placement of the pressure lugs (item 2).

a.

Attach a bus bar jumper (item 1) behind and between terminals L1 and L4, locating a pressure lug
(item 2) on T1 in front of the bus bar. Place a 3/8-16 hex head screw, a 3/8” conical washer, and a
3/8” flat washer (items 5, 4, and 3) through the lug and fasten to the power terminal. Use the same
fastener combination to fasten the bus bar jumper to L4.

b.

Repeat step 1a to attach bus bar jumpers and pressure lugs to terminals L1/L4 and L3/L6.

Step 2. Torque the six hex head screws (item 5) to between 30 to 32 ft-lb (42 to 44 N-m).

Connecting Pressure Lugs to the Output Power Terminals

Step 1. Attach a pressure lug (item 2) to each output power terminal (terminals U, V, and W) using the

supplied fasteners. Place a 1/2-13 hex head screw and a 1/2” flat washer (items 7 and 9) through the
lug and the hole in the power output terminal and fasten with a 1/2” flat washer, 1/2” conical washer,
and 1/2” hex nut (items 7, 8 and 6).

Step 2. Torque the three hex head screws (item 7) to between 72 to 76 ft-lb (100 to 103 N-m).

Installing the Coolant Input and Output Tubes

Coolant input and output tubes are routed through the back of the cabinet.
