DESCRIPTION
The Trusted
TM Fan Tray 24V dc Roof Mounted is designed to exhaust air
above a cabinet housing a Trusted TM System. The normal distribution of
roof mounted fan trays is on a basis of one per cabinet bay.
The Trusted TM Fan Tray 24V dc Roof Mounted comprises eight fans
mounted horizontally in a chassis supported within a roof cowl (the
illustration above is a view of the Fan Tray without the roof cowl).
The Fan Tray is powered from dual 24V dc supplies arranged such that the
fans are supplied in fours via 500mA anti-surge fuses. The 0V supply is
connected via a terminal block – see block diagram overleaf.
Each fan is capable of moving 69m 3 /h when operating at a nominal rotor
speed of 3100 rpm. Protection against overloading and reverse polarity is
provided electronically for each fan.
