RAPID FLOW INDuCTION
rEmOvINg ThE STOCk INTAkE
1. Using the special hex bit included with the RFI
kit, unscrew the two screws holding the Mass
Air Flow Sensor in place. Then pull up on the
senor to remove it from the intake hose.
2. Loosen the hose clamp on the stock intake hose
using a flat head screw driver, then slide the in-
take hose off of the stock intake box.
3. To remove the stock filter housing pull strait up
on the intake housing and the entire housing
will remove in one piece. The intake is held in
place by three grommets, it may take a little
effort to work it loose from the grommets.
4. Below the stock filter housing is a steel plate
that needs to be removed. Use a 10mm wrench
to remove the five bolts that secure the plate.
Save three of five the bolts to secure the RFI
system.
