3.4. Performance
For optimum performance, use the FireWire 800 with the Duo-FireWire
configured in the RAID 0 performance stripe mode.
The performance results below shows the Duo-FireWire can support an amazing
10+ streams of DV25 and 3 streams of 8 bit un-compress SD.
Starting from the far left, the graph shows the data rate of an empty drive. As the
graph line moves right it shows the data rate as the drive fills with data, ending at
far right showing data rate of a completely full drive.
The spectacular RAID 0 performance shows the drive keeps up with its
maximum data rate all the way from empty to full.
