INSTALLATION PROCEDURES FOR THE SURFACE MOUNT

1.

Slip a 2” pipe flange gasket (not supplied) over float protection

housing support ring.

2.

Lower float protection housing per Item No. 6 down into tank until
flange gasket rests on top of existing 2” pipe flange.

3.

Lower float assembly per Item No. 2 down into float protection
housing per Item No. 6 until bottom of magnet holder rests on top of
PVC float stop contained on PVC float rod. Note: Float should be
carefully forced down if tank contains liquid!

4.

Pick up gauge housing per Item No. 1 and prepare to place on top of
float protection housing support ring. Notice that there are two 1/8”

Position magnet holder such that the north pole (red end) of magnet
is pointing toward the flag assembly side of gauge housing.

6.
